Equine Myofascial Release
In a lot of ways, the myofascial tissue of the body is similar to the soil surrounding the root system of the tree. It is the delicate connective tissue that surrounds and protects our muscle tissue, housing our body's complex nerve systems. Communication signals travel through the body utilizing this path of connective tissue communicating pain, sending firing signals and moving information about the body through the body.

Horses are sensitive beings that strive for balance. When their bodies are out of balance, they look for ways of communicating a need for rebalance. These ways of communication could include physical lameness, changes in behavior, or both. Utilizing gentle massage techniques provides an opportunity for release of blockages, points of tension, and pain.

As a certified myofascial release practitioner, I target the myofascial tissue throughout the body to provide a full body release, allowing an energetic and physical return to balance. I aim to provide your horse with a meaningful healing experience using the power of physical touch.
